Jill Lewis

Managing Director, Troika International Ltd

I hold three official roles currently at the SEG, I am the Chair for the Global Affairs Committee, a member of the Technical Standards Committee (TSC) and a member of the Review & Planning Committee Community. From my position within the TSC I represent the SEG in the Standards Leadership Council (11 international standards bodies) to try and ensure that where standards cross they use the same base information. For example we all use the OGP co-ordinate reference system and the Energistics Units of Measurement.

At the TSC I was Chair for six years when we ratified the new SEGD3.0 format. From when I took Vice Chair I have pro-actively promoted the activities of this committee. The TSC is currently working on SEGY and as this is the format that acquisition, processing and interpretation rely on to input, exchange and retain data it is extremely important.
